 Step one Challenge
 
 
***The Step One Challenge is CHANGING DATES!! For the past 7 years the Step One Challenge has happened from April to June. This year the event will be held from September 15 – October 27. Please check out steponechallenge.org for more details.
 
 
 
 
 

*** Mixed Paper Drive: From April 1st through June 30th 2012 the Cleveland County Health Department will be conducting it’s annual mixed paper drive at each of the 9 county recycling centers. Click here to read the press release and to see what will be collected.

***The Cleveland County Health Department is now offering FREE TDAP VACCINATIONS to everyone 7 years and older for whom Tdap is recommended. A third party payer will be billed for the administration fee if the individual has insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. The vaccine is available at the Health Department Monday-Friday, from 8am – 4:30pm. This is a walk-in service, no appointment necessary. Vaccination Information Sheets are available in English and Spanish.

 ***COMMUNITY ASSESSMENT: The 2011 Cleveland County Community Assessment was released Wednesday, February 15th. You can download a copy of the assessment here. If you need a paper copy, please call Anne Short at 704-484-5112.
