What is the dental clinic?
The Cleveland County Health Department offers pediatric dental services to residents under the age of 21.
How do I qualify?
To qualify for dental services at the Cleveland County Health Department you must be under the age of 21. You must also be a recipient of Medicaid, NC Health Choice, or a combination of Medicaid and private insurance. Private pay clients may also be seen and will be billed on a sliding scale.
What services does the dental clinic provide?
The dental clinic provides preventive and restorative services. These include:
Oral hygiene instructions
Fillings with amalgam or composite
Pulpotomy – “Baby Root Canal”
Stainless steel crowns
Our Dental Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm for general dental services. The periodontist’s schedule is the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month.
