Hurricane Helene Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP)
Beginning October 18th, people living in 25 western NC counties and members of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians impacted by Hurricane Helene can apply to receive a one-time benefit to help buy food through the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).

County Debris Removal
On behalf of the Cleveland County Board of Commissioners, our community has engaged CrowderGulf to remove vegetative debris related to Hurricane Helene. The Board of Commissioners, without hesitation, decided to proactively volunteer to take on this responsibility to expedite the removal of the storm debris.
