The Honorable Betsy S. Harnage is the Cleveland County Register of Deeds, a position to which she was elected in 2016. Harnage earned a B.S. degree in 1983 from the University of South Florida. She married her husband, Tony Harnage, in 1986 and they have two children. Harnage moved to Shelby in 1987 with her husband to purchase Badcock Home Furniture & More. The Harnages have two children. Harnage is actively involved in the community. She has previously served as a Girl Scouts leader and a YMCA baseball coach. She is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Classical Academy and a member of the Board of Directors of the PCA Education Foundation. Harnage is proud to call Cleveland County home.
