    • It is the responsibility of the document submitter and NOT the Cleveland County Register of Deeds to ensure that all information (including the Secretary of State Identification Number) is correct on any assumed name filings at the time of submission.  Any errors in the information presented by the submitter may result in additional fees and charges to correct information with the Secretary of State.
    • *NEW* FILE YOUR ASSUMED BUSINESS NAME ELECTRONICALLY ABN's can now be electronically filed through our Get Certificate Now Vendor Courthouse Computer Systems.  This feature does not replace eRecording for eRecording submitters.  This is a way for the general public to electronically submit Assumed Business Name Certificates from their bank or the convenience of their home or business. Withdrawals or Amendments must be filed in person, through the mail, or through an eRecording account.
    • The Vendor charges a $15.00 convenience fee to electronically file and it costs $26.00 to record an Assumed Business Name Certificate. The total charge would be $41.00 to file through Get Certificate Now. If you would like to file your assumed business through the Courthouse Computer Systems portal, please go to Cleveland.filemybusinessname.com

In 2019, we began accepting Plats by E-recording, please call for more information on how to obtain review officer signatures and administrator signatures for the e-recording process.

If you are sending your recordings overnight and a pre-paid envelope is provided, the recording will be returned in it. 
If you send it via FedEx, there is no additional charge for scheduling a pickup.
