There was a line of people waiting at the gate when the Cleveland County Animal Shelter opened at 10 AM on Saturday, August 17. They were all eager to find their perfect match. Thanks to the assistance of our amazing volunteers and staff, we helped each individual or family meet our sweet animals who needed homes.
Within 3-4 hours, 22 dogs and 3 cats had been adopted and 14 kittens went to foster-to-adopt homes. Their adoptions will be finalized when they are old enough to get spayed or neutered.
